Sales Consultant

Function:

The Sales consultant will help us expand our business by supporting our clients in navigating the complex issues associated with managing security solutions to meet their business and consumer needs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES


Pre-Sale Responsibilities may include: (~25% of time):

  • Respond to services related RFI's and RFP's
  • Prepare presentations and documents for client meetings and client demonstrations
  • Work with local ANX teams to understand particular clients to personalize services messages to their unique business needs
  • Participate in preparing client workshop materials and conducting technology demonstrations on topics of interest
  • Identify opportunities at new or existing ANX clients where security solutions could add value to the client

Post-Sale Responsibilities may include: (~75% of time):

  • Be accountable for a defined work product as part of the project team, providing guidance to cross departmental teams if appropriate
  • Manage work in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client in terms of improving competitive position
  • Provide specific guidance to team members to ensure that project focus is on target and work is accomplished on time and of the highest quality standards
  • Contribute to thought capital development on topics of interest to potential clients and collaborating with others in the firm on client development activities
  • Serving as a key contributor or subject matter expert on consulting projects

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Must be a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and eager to learn
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in consultative selling
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills.
  • Effective project management skills
  • Good team player and should meet or exceed team goals
  • Build excellent working relationship to attain goals
  • Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member
  • Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
